Thynora
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Thynora is built on a simple principle: your thinking stays private. Maps, notes, recordings, transcripts, reflections, and AI conversations are stored and processed on your device. We never receive or process that content on a server.
Who We Are
Thynora is developed by NexlyTech ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles, where it lives, and the choices you have. It applies to the Thynora mobile application published on Google Play under application ID dev.nexlytech.thynora.
The Short Version
- Your mind maps, notes, photos, recordings, transcripts, and reflections stay on your device.
- Thinking and speech-to-text models run locally. Private content is not sent to cloud AI.
- Thynora has no account, sign-up, app server, advertising, analytics, or crash reporting.
- Network access is limited to model downloads you request and Google Play billing operations.
- Exports are readable local files and leave the app only when you save or share them.
Data That Stays on Your Device
Thynora stores the following in the app's private storage:
- Mind maps, branches, notes, links, folders, and attached photos
- Voice recordings and on-device transcripts
- AI prompts, responses, and suggestions about your maps
- Decisions, confidence levels, expected outcomes, reviews, and reflections
- Downloaded models, preferences, and local subscription status
Thynora does not operate a backend, hosted database, or cloud inference service. Manual mind maps work without downloading an AI model.
When Thynora Uses the Network
Thynora uses the internet only for these limited purposes:
- Model information and downloads — when you view or request an optional thinking or voice model, Thynora may check its size and download it from public model hosting. The provider receives the technical information normally sent with an internet request, such as your IP address. Your maps and notes are not included.
- Google Play purchases and restore — Google Play processes purchases and confirms entitlement through the Play account on your device. Thynora does not receive or store your payment-card details.
No Account and No Tracking
Thynora has no sign-up, login, or user profile. It contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, remote crash reporter, or behavioral tracker. Diagnostic information remains local to your device. We do not sell personal data and do not build advertising profiles.
Device Permissions
- Microphone — optional, used only when you record a voice note for local transcription.
- Photos — optional, used only to attach a photo you select to a map branch. The app copies that photo into its private storage.
- Notifications — optional, used for decision-review reminders you choose and model-download progress.
- Internet — used only for model downloads and Google Play billing as described above.
Exports and Sharing
You can export a map as PNG, PDF, Markdown, HTML, or a JSON backup. Exported files are readable, not end-to-end encrypted. They leave Thynora's private storage only when you save, copy, or share them using your device. The destination app or storage provider then applies its own policy.
Data Security, Retention, and Deletion
Your content is stored in Android's app-private storage. Delete individual maps and recordings inside Thynora when you no longer need them. Uninstalling the app removes its local data and downloaded models, subject to your device's normal operating-system behavior. We cannot recover deleted content because we never hold a copy.
Your Rights
Privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data held by a company. NexlyTech does not hold your Thynora content or an account about you. Your data is already under your control on your device. You may contact us with privacy questions or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Children
Thynora is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because all map content is created by the person using the app, NexlyTech does not review or moderate it.
International Data Transfers
We do not transfer your maps, notes, recordings, transcripts, or reflections across borders. Model-hosting providers and Google may process standard network or purchase information under their own terms and infrastructure when you use those services.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to how data is handled will be communicated in the app before they take effect.
